What is Nar Phu Trek?
The Nar Phu Trek is a relatively lesser-known trekking route that takes you through the remote Nar and Phu valleys, located to the north of the Annapurna range. This trek offers a glimpse into the traditional Tibetan culture, stunning landscapes, and pristine wilderness, making it a unique and rewarding journey for intrepid explorers.
Best Time to Visit Nar Phu
The best time to embark on the Nar Phu Trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. During these months, the weather is favorable, with clear skies and moderate temperatures, offering optimal conditions for trekking. Before setting out on the Nar Phu Trek it’s essential to obtain the necessary permits, including the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the Nar Phu Restricted Area Permit. These permits not only help in preserving the natural environment but also contribute to the local community development projects.
